She works with healthcare startups to help them build digital health and wellness applications that successfully engage users, increasing the benefit for both users \/ patients and the business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She conducts independent user testing of health applications to create guidelines and best practice recommendations for user-friendly health apps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Previous projects included design and research for apps in personal health record management, prescription and medication management, nutrition, mental health, activity and female health tracking.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Session: <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5 principles for creating digital health apps<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">users love and engage with<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">User engagement is a critical factor for the success of any digital health tool. After all, even the most successful digital interventions won\u2019t make any different if people don\u2019t use them.
