He joined QUT in 2018 and has considerable experience, having led the Information Security function in the banking and utilities sectors. Rob also brings broad IT experience having performed a variety of roles over the last 30 years.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Session: <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cyber Security as a business-enabler<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cyber Security &#8211; From the &#8216;House of NO&#8217; to &#8216;YES&#8217;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This session examines how an effective cyber security function has needed to transition from the gatekeeper to an enabler.
